Whether you're feasting or merely having a quick afternoon snack, you want your meals to be properly digested. And the truth is, the better our gastrointestinal system works, the better we process mentally, physically and spiritually. We have created a list of drinks that will help you in better digestion and weight loss at the same time. Consider including one or more of the healthy beverages listed below in your diet to boost your digestive health.

Kombucha

Kombucha is a delicious, mildly carbonated drink high in probiotics that is made by fermenting yeasts and microorganisms with sweetened tea.

Probiotics are living, beneficial microorganisms that aid digestion. Probiotics provide several health advantages, including helping to enhance the immune system, lower blood sugar, reduce inflammation, and improve overall gut and intestinal health.

Ginger Tea

Warm ginger tea, consumed immediately before or during a large meal, may enhance digestive health and help reduce heartburn, stomachache, and indigestion. This is because the root of the ginger promotes salivary flow, bile production, and gastric juice production, accelerating the breakdown of the food you eat.

Lemongrass or Green Tea

Lemongrass tea or green tea, in addition to becoming delicious, has been demonstrated to help calm the stomach and regulate digestive systems. Green tea is high in antioxidants, which safeguard the body from a variety of ailments. It is extensively preferred by people to lose weight during their weight loss journey. Lemongrass is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy used to help reduce symptoms of stomach troubles such as bloating and constipation. It includes a chemical called citral, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Also it's caffeine-free, making it a great after-dinner drink or bedtime tea.

Peppermint Tea

Peppermint, which is known to be a native to Europe and Asia, has been used for several thousand years for its minty taste and healing benefits. It includes natural compounds that may benefit the digestive tract by minimizing spasms in the stomach, which means your body is more calm and can digest food more readily after consuming it. As a result, it has been discovered to be potentially useful in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Fennel Tea

Fennel, which is high in fiber, may help treat constipation as well as other digestive issues that create gas, as well as keep things flowing in the digestive tract appropriately, however study has revealed inadequate support for this. Simply brew tea by smashing them and pouring hot water over them to enjoy the therapeutic effects of fennel. You can also make a drink by simply grinding the fennel seeds, mixing it with sugar and chilled water. It helps in better digestion and cools down the burning acidic nature in our digestive system.

Water

Water is a major necessity of every single cell that lines your gastrointestinal system, which means you need a sufficient amount of it for those cells to operate in a proper way. Water also maintains the tissues in your digestive tract flexible, producing an environment in which food may move readily.

Drink the accurate dose for your gastrointestinal system. To calculate your total daily fluid consumption, divide your weight (in pounds) by two. This will give you a rough idea of how many ounces of fluid you need each day. Add 16 ounces for every pound of perspiration lost during exercise or outdoor labor in hot weather.

Chia seed tonic

Chia seeds can be useful to your digestion and weight loss in the same way that smoothies (with the appropriate ingredients!) do. That's because they provide both soluble and insoluble fiber, and you already know that mixture helps to keep your gastrointestinal system running smoothly. However, chia seeds are also abundant in fiber. A single tablespoon contains roughly 4 grams of fiber, which is 14% of your daily required intake. Our chia seed tonic has a full spoonful of chia seeds, ensuring that you receive all of that nutritious fiber when you drink it.

Kefir

Kefir, like kombucha, contains probiotics and many strains. That alone is beneficial to digestion. Another recent research, published in the journal Nutrients, focused especially on kefir. When animals were fed kefir every day for a month, the composition of their gut microbiome increased, which has far-reaching implications for gut and digestive health. In this Berry-Mint Kefir Smoothie recipe, try kefir.

Prune Juice

They are high in sorbitol, a naturally occuring sugar alcohol that is not absorbed and attracts water into the large intestine. And the extra water aids in the movement of items through your GI tract. Prune juice also contains some of the fiber found in the entire fruit; a cup of prune juice has roughly 3 grams of fiber.

Saunf Water

When your gut health is suffering, fennel seeds, also known as saunf, might come to your rescue. Because it is high in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and D, and minerals including copper, calcium, iron, zinc, potassium, and magnesium, saunf water can assist with acidity and constipation and promote improved digestion.

For efficient weight reduction, combine the drinking of these drinks with a low calorie diet and frequent exercise.
